Product’s Differences and Applications
The pistol-grip air nut riveter is a riveting tool powered directly by compressed air. It relies compressed air to drive the air cylinder, generating a longitudinal tension on the screw that pulls the rivet nut. Its working pressure is relatively low and is suitable for applications where high riveting force is not required and space is limited, such as door and window manufacturing, the decoration industry and the luggage industry. Routine maintenance requires only regular lubrication and a clean air source.
The hydraulic air nut riveter is a riveting tool powered by high-pressure hydraulic oil. Operating at higher pressure than pistol-grip type, it uses compressed air to drive the hydraulic cylinder, generating instantaneous high pressure in the hydraulic oil system, which drives the screw longitudinally, pulling the rivet nut. This air-to-oil pressurization principle enables fast operation and high pressure. It is primarily used for riveting large-diameter, high-strength rivets (such as SS rivet nuts) and is suitable for high loads and continuous, high-intensity operations, such as the automobile manufacturing, shipbuilding and machinery manufacturing industries. Compared with pistol-grip type, daily maintenance also requires attention to the condition of the hydraulic oil.
Product’s Feature And Details
Powerful and Efficient Operation
Our Air Rivnut Tool delivers the performance you need for tough riveting jobs—it pulls hard, saves labor, and handles heavy use consistently. You'll feel it grip securely, biting into materials like copper, iron, aluminum, zinc-plated, alloy, carbon steel, and even stainless steel without hesitation. This capability means you can trust it anywhere, anytime. We built it to work right across diverse applications.
Smart Adjustable Design
Finding the sweet spot for force and stroke makes all the difference. That’s why our pneumatic rivnut gun equips a self-locking gun head and a knob to fine-tune the pulling strength. Adjusting the stroke involves pushing the slider back, then rotating the rear cover clockwise or counterclockwise. Test a nut after initial setup, if it feels loose, add a few clicks step by step. But be careful: twisting the cover too far counterclockwise, more than five full turns, might cause rotation failures or leaks. If that happens, turning clockwise slightly usually fixes it—a design choice we made knowing you’d value quick solutions.
Superior Durability Components
We designed every part in this Pneumatic Nutsert Tool to outlast the competition. Do you have durability requirements for the pull rod? We CNC machine it and quench it specifically to prevent wear and silpping. You get a wear-resistant, imported hardened rotor inside converting power into strong, reliable output. The hexagonal cylinder uses lightweight high magnesium alloy because we believe durable shouldn’t mean heavy. Even the alloy piston withstands heat, the barrel is quenched for bursting strength, and the dual-insurance air motor keeps things stable. The 360-degree rotatable air inlet connector allows you to maneuver more easily in tight spaces.
User-Friendly Functionalities
Using our Air Rivet Nut Gun feels intuitive. The large-area honeycomb exhaust vents effectively while cutting noise significantly—no more loud bursts disrupting the workspace. A forward / reverse button makes operation simple, the handle is ergonomically designed for comfort because we understand long hours using tools matter. It works across nut sizes from M3 to M12, you just switch the standard caps we provide to match your specific riveting task.
Rapid Action and Safe Maintenance
Learn how it locks down a nut in 1.2 seconds—just press the nut lightly to trigger auto-threading. Hold the trigger once it’s fully seated, it deforms the nut, then ejects itself cleanly when finished. Let go, and it’s done. Maintaining this pneumatic tool is simple: we recommend 2-3 drops of pneumatic tool lubricants in the top before starting, after use, and during idle periods. What really matters is safety: it runs rely on compress air, so there's no electrical spark hazard. You can operate confidently away from power sources—that inherent reliability forms the core of how we build.
