Air Rivet Nail Gun

Product’s Applications

Lots of customers rely on our Pneumatic Rivet Nail Gun for fastening across all sorts of industrial jobs every single day. What makes it work for them is how well it can rivets different materials of rivet nail with different hardness. In luggage manufacturing, we see it anchor handles, zippers, and frames securely, pull after pull. Down on door and window lines, this tool is what keeps aluminum and steel frames, hinges, and hardware firmly joined, shift after shift. Our automotive partners count on its precision when they're putting interior panels and trim pieces in place or installing components under the hood. Equipment installers working out in the field, where conditions get tough, trust the gun's durability to secure machinery bases, conveyor systems, and structural brackets without trouble. Shipbuilders need joints that hold, and that's where our gun comes in–joining hull panels and deck fittings, even fixing insulation, without shaking loose. For aerospace, the demands are highest, requiring flawless operation, it’s the tool chosen for critical airframe assemblies, attaching skins, and making repairs on those lightweight alloys.

Our engineers built this air rivet nail gun knowing people work long hours. They focused on minimizing operator fatigue during continuous operation, ensuring reliable blind riveting happens fast, whether you're working with plastics, metals, or composites. This focus on speed and ease directly helps busy assembly operations move forward. And for any project our clients face, we know it takes every standard rivet nail you find, giving the flexibility you need.

Product’s Feature And Details

Durable Construction & High Performance

At WYMA, we build our air rivet nail gun around aerospace-grade aluminum housing. We subject the thickened hardened alloy jaw piece to mature CNC machining and quenching, which directly enhances wear resistance. This guarantees firm grip strength and eliminates slippage during riveting. Paired with a stainless steel gun sleeve guide nozzle jaw piece, our tool consistently delivers smooth, burr-free results while ejecting mandrels rapidly. Critical components matter to us: the expanded pin, alloy oil piston (designed for heat/wear resistance), and alloy air piston (engineered for high-pressure durability) collectively ensure power transfers without loss. With its powerful hydraulic pulling force, our industrial-grade wear-resistant cylinder can drive rapid one-pulling breaks down to 1.2 seconds per cycle. The 360° airflow inlet removes operational restrictions, and our ergonomic trigger genuinely reduces user fatigue. With a max adjustable stroke of 190mm and self-sucking riveting function, we achieve over 80,000 efficient, jam-free cycles because we test for real-world endurance.

Versatile Riveting Options

We built these pneumatic rivet nail guns to rivet the rivets of various hardness materials like copper, iron, aluminum, zinc, alloy, carbon steel, stainless steel and hemlok rivets because that’s what you actually face on site. Grab another hardened guide nozzle from our range—2.4, 3.0, 3.2, 4.0, 4.8, 5.0, or 6.4mm—and swap it in seconds when rivet diameters change. For those frustrating tight spots, our extended turning anvils or straight extended anvils—compatible with WM-8221, WM-8221V, WM-8222, WM-8222V—slip into corners while keeping this pneumatic nail riveter simple to use.

Procurement guidance

With so many riveting options, how do we choose a suitable air rivet gun? First, it's important to understand that due to the varying hardness and deformation characteristics of rivets made of different materials (such as aluminum, stainless steel, and iron), as well as the varying pulling forces of the rivet guns, not every model of our rivet gun is suitable for all materials. For example, softer aluminum rivets require less pulling force, making a lightweight air rivet gun (we recommend our WM-3208 series) suitable. Using a high-tension rivet gun for aluminum rivets can easily penetrate and damage the softer substrate. Similarly, harder stainless steel rivets or thickened stainless steel hemlock blind rivets require even higher pulling forces to cause deformation. Therefore, only high-tension models (such as our WM-8224V, WM-8225, WM-8226, WM-8227, and WM-8228V) are compatible. Using a lower pulling force rivet maybe result in riveting failure. Furthermore, the stroke parameter is crucial. This refers to the distance the rivet head travels from its starting point to its end point. If the stroke is too short, problems such as rivets not being pulled through or riveting not being firm may occur. If the stroke is too long, the rivet may be over-deformed or even pull through the base material, damaging the workpiece. That's why you need to pick a model whose stroke is just right for the rivet's material and size. For instance, a long-stroke model is what you'd use for those tough, hard rivets, while a short-stroke one is what works best for softer ones. Finally, regular maintenance with added hydraulic oil ensures a stable stroke.

Automated Operation & Maintenance

Automatic Riveting Steps:

First, load the matching rivet mandrel into your chosen guide nozzle. Insert the rivet head into the workpiece hole, pressing the nozzle flush against the surface. Engage forward mode and pull the trigger—the tool auto-pulls and stages the rivet. Finally, the mandrel snaps cleanly into the nail collection box after tensioning.

Hydraulic Oil Refill (for tools already in service, not new units):

Turn the tool upside down and unscrew the base, then carefully slide out the inner tray. Remove the hydraulic piston and wipe away any contaminated or watery oil. Slowly inject anti-wear hydraulic oil into the center hole until it sits 5mm below the top. Remember: overfilling here prevents retraction.

Critical Usage Guidelines

A successful one-pull break down depends on three factors: stroke length, rivet material/size, and plate thickness. Choose rivets by measuring (Workpiece Thickness + Rivet Diameter)—this determines optimal length. Confirm (Rivet Length - Plate Thickness) < Tool Stroke. For instance, a 5mm×14mm rivet and 4mm plate calculates as 14–4=10mm, which falls under our air riveters’ 18mm stroke. That’s how you achieve a one-pull break down. If jams occur or need to pull multiple times, shorten the stroke via the adjusting nut. If the rivet doesn’t snap, lengthen it. Always maintain a 0.3–0.5mm gap between the guide nozzle and rivet—mismatched sizes cause jams or weak clinching. Our self-sucking model requires more air, use larger compressors and avoid long hoses or small tanks to prevent pressure drops. Post-riveting, wait for spent mandrels to eject fully before reloading. Blocked channels happen when you rush this step. Continuous airflow after connection means active suction mode operates normally.

Maintenance & Safety

Lubricate through the top oil port: add 2-3 drops of pneumatic oil into the intake before or after use, then briefly run the tool dry. As a spark-free system, our pneumatic tool lets you work safely in hazardous environments.
